dlear7 The inseam of the pants is much shorter than normal for this size in this brand of clothing which I’ve bought many times so that’s why I’m asking about alterations etc:))

dlear7 @lisarose1214 yeah it looks like they’ve altered them. Can you tell if they were stitched or glued up? That’s the biggest problem in buying used high end clothing lines since many pieces are either altered or cleaned improperly which causes shrinkage, staining or discoloring and or lack of longevity. I love this set too :/

dlear7 @lisarose1214 it’s a US size 12 since it’s German 42. I absolutely love it but if I can’t lower the pants I will have to change them to shorter length or just wear the jacket if the arm length is okay:)) Thank you for helping me figure this out:))

lisarose1214 @dlear7 it’s very soft leather. Leather has done give and will stretch some and form to the body over time

dlear7 @lisarose1214 my big concern is the pants being altered to a short length and my main purchase would have to be on the jacket due to the possibility that the pants won’t work for me. I wear that size in escada and it usually fits beautiful.

lisarose1214 @queenqamar morning 🌞 I measured the pmts and posted photos. Looks like they measure 19 across hip. The length is 29.5/30”. I hope this works for you.😘

queenqamar That's not under the zipper. Properly measuring the hips is approximately 9 inches down from waist, then flat across under the zipper. Don't want to bother you but it is important to me for proper fit.
