Made in Germany out of New Wool which is extremely soft and lightweight with soft lining as a smooth linen feel. It has two front button, 3 front pleats at waist, zipper in front. mowermutt Difficult question to answer since it would depend on if you are short or long waisted as to wear the hip measurement would be. Only a guess I would say 36. They are for a very small waist and have a bit of a flare due to the pleats in front.

ebruining Got it, thanks! So to confirm, if you are holding a measuring tape flat across the widest part of the ‘bum’ area of the pants, it sounds like the measurement is 18 inches?

mowermutt correct, I was very high waisted in my youth. Can you send your real waist measurement to your hip and I can try to measure that way?

ebruining Thank you! They are such lovely pants. My waist measures 26 around, and the widest part of my hips is 38 inches. There are roughly 8.5 inches between my waist and hips. Based on my hips, it sounds like they may be too snug.
