Made from a buttery Pearl Mikado, the bodice features a plunging sweetheart neckline with a zip-up closure beneath fabric-covered buttons. The tulle skirt features tiered ruffles – complete with horsehair trim – adding texture and dimension to its fullness. A dramatic cathedral train completes the look. Label size 6, street size 2. I altered it to take in the waste, and added bra cups and a bustle. It has been professionally cleaned and preserved by the wedding dress preservation company.
