Estate Vintage Ring

Pawn shop looked at this ring and I was told it is an antique filigree with opal; the red stone is not a ruby; 10k gold; Size is 6.75. Due to age, some of the gold around the red stone has chipped off. I see no information inside. The last row of photos are taken in natural light so you can get a better idea of the look. The first row is with more brightness.
