a friend bought these of eBay marked a size 8R, but they are definitely mislabeled! they're too small for me and I'm generally a 16 in denim. so based on all that and the measurements, I think these are likely a 14!
waist straight across - 18 in
hip straight across - 23 in
inseam - 29 in.

You might double-check the posted size against the posted picture of the size label. It looks like the correct size is US8R
