This stunning pendant brooch pin is a true work of art twice signed by Eugene Charley, a Native American Navajo artisan. The piece features beautiful gemstone jewel quality turquoise and is made of stamped sterling silver 925. It has a pin closure and weighs 65.5 grams. The pendant is customized and has a unique design that reflects the beauty of nature and the Navajo tribal affiliation. It makes a perfect gift for any occasion, including engagement, Mother's Day, Christmas, graduation, anniversary, Father's Day, birthday, and Valentine's Day. The piece is signed by the artist and is a vintage piece that has not been enhanced. It is handmade and is a perfect representation of the Native American Four Corners Region Arizona New Mexico Utah and Colorado Indigenous culture.
This item resides in our personal collection yet we are offering it to a serious collector and investor of high end Navajo jewelry. The turquoise stone is the finest quality we have acquired to date as it is gem with deep rich blues greens and reds with translucency as it appears to be naturally silicified hence has depth like looking into a pool of water when examining under a microscope. It is possibly a gem Stone Mountain or Morenci stone. Has a beautiful polish and was expertly cut by the maker. The silversmithing is superb and we love how Eugene Charley created such beautiful details with feather sunburst head dress and collar for the Hopi inspired Sun Kachina along with Thunderbird symbols
