Measure approx. 1 inch in diameter Silver tone paper clip chain knotted with cobalt blue seed beads make these stand out Gold tone findings Signed on clips Eugene vintage costume jewelry is rare and highly collectible, the company, founded by designer Eugene Schultz, existed 1952 – 1962. Eugene graduated from the School of Design and worked as costume designer for Broadway shows in the 20s-30s. In the 30s, Eugene worked at Cartier on handmade Christmas greeting cards. Family members say that he also designed for Miriam Haskell, but there is not evidence of this in Haskell company records. Even so, it is obvious that his work was influenced by Haskell designer Frank Hess.
