Waist is approx. 17.5/18 inches across. Inseam is 26". 100% cotton, so no stretch, but it's a relaxed fit, so there's plenty of room to move. On it looks just like the model photos. I'm 5'9" and usually wear an 8 or 10 and this fits me nicely (Since I'm tall, a 26" inseam in a regular pair of jeans would look ridiculous on me, but the crotch is sort of dropped, so it's not really the same)
