bananaboats You say this retails for $123, but on Ewa Michalak’s website it is 249 PLN (= 59 USD). Even factoring in shipping, that’s a big discrepancy. Can you clarify?

simmsgrl @bananaboats I did not purchase this bra directly from the Ewa website. I purchased this bra from an authorized Ewa USA retailer. I definitely paid more then $59.00 for this bra also. I paid $81.68 to be exact. Not all sellers on this platform utilize the original price option. Some sellers on this platform may enter $123 or another unconventional price as original price for their own personal reasons.

simmsgrl @bananaboats I don't think it matters in general what the original is or for that matter what I paid for it. If someone likes the Item and likes the price they buy it, or will make an offer.

simmsgrl @bananaboats It’s strange though that you say on the Ewa Website that the 59. 00 US price tag includes shipping to the US. DSL shipping that she uses to ship to the US per her website is 197. 89PLN (= 58. 78) grand totaling (= 117. 78 USD) I find you’re information incorrect. If you’re not interested in purchasing or making an offer perhaps you should keep scrolling till you find something more in your price range.

bananaboats @simmsgrl thanks for clarifying. I totally understand that you can sell the item for any price you want and someone might buy it—I just find it misleading to state that the ‘original’ price was substantially more than what you paid for it, which gives the impression that $81 is a discount. (I also did not say that the 249 PLN / 59 USD price included shipping—maybe you misread.)

simmsgrl @bananaboats as mentioned, I don't think original price really matters. At the end of the day if a buyer sees that an item was marked down from (example) $75 to $10 they still won't buy it if they don't like it, so knowing that that they are getting a good deal only helps if they actually like the item to start with, and if they actually like the item, they are not going to care much about its original retail price anyway if in their mind it's a fair price to pay.

simmsgrl @bananaboats Maybe you should have considered doing your research on Ewa’s “original” prices and “shipping cost” before commenting on my sale listing as to what I have my items original cost listed as and it being a “big discrepancy” when it’s a $5.22 difference per the Ewa website that you were originally referring to.

bananaboats @simmsgrl I don’t normally do full market research when looking at Poshmark listings. I just did a quick Google to see the original price because I knew that I’ve always seen EM bras retail for less. I was genuinely curious why this bra was listed as $123, perhaps because it was customized, a style no longer available, or even just a typo.
