Excellent Cond 21 TCW Smoky Quartz Diamond Dabakarov Ring 14K Yellow Gold SZ 6.5

Excellent Condition MASSIVE 21 x 21 mm 14KT Yellow Gold Dark Chocolate 20.9 carat Smoky Quartz Cocktail Statement Ring with Diamond Halo Size 6.5 by Dabakarov. The main stone is a prong-set rounded-corner square checkerboard cut 20.9 ct smoky quartz, surrounded by a white diamond halo, total diamond carat weight 0.17. The stone appears to the the shade of bittersweet chocolate, best seen in the main photo and photos that show the stone from the side. The stone is mostly clean, with a few pinpoint-sized inclusions that you can see if you hold it up to your eye and look through bright light but they aren't showing up in the photos; I attempted to get one with light coming through the stone in Photo #9. Other than these few tiny dots the stone is transparent. I think I wore this once; there are some very light, faint scratches on the underside of the band. The total ring size at the top is 21 x 21 mm. Dabakarov made these in smoky quartz, citrine, amethyst and prasiolite (all the same material: quartz) and the gemstones were all cut to weigh approximately 20.9 carats, with 0.17 tcw white brilliant-cut diamonds. Ring size 6.5 verified with a mandrel. Pictures #10 shows how it looks when worn. The ring has a plain shank (photos #3-7) and could be re-sized; most jewelers will tell you that it is best not to try to size a ring more than one full size up or down. eB: live4lv
