Beautiful one-of-a-kind, antique carnelian amulet from Israel, inscribed with the Hebrew Ana Bekoach Sunday prayer, called AvagYatazt. It is set in a 14K gold bezel setting, created by the late jewelry designer, Richard Pritts. It measures 1 5/8" wide by 1 1/2" high.
The Ana BeKoach prayer was written by Rabbi Nehonia, a great kabbalistic Rabbi, in the first century AD. It was written according to the seventy names of God. The Ana BeKoach is composed of seven lines, with six words in each line, creating the 42 letter name of God.
In the Ana BeKoach prayer, there is a special prayer for each day of the week. Sunday's prayer, AvagYatazt refers to Sunday being the first day after the sabbath (Shabbos), the time of perfect and complete unity after the holiness of Shabbos, before a work mentality sets in.
The amulet's reddish color adds protection from evil.
Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
