We use pure sugar and it is gentle but also exfoliating. Our formula uses an emulsifier, therefore there is no need to stir the scrub between uses. The wonderful oils and the sugar do not separate. We've tried many different recipes over the years and we feel like we found the perfect one that does not leave your skin feeling greasy.
