Express midi polka-dot dress

This is a black dress with little white polka-dots, ruching around the middle in the front and back, a split neck, and it is stretchy in order to be form-fitting.It's a mid-calf length and reminds me of a retro wiggle dress. I can't tell if the tag says 8 or 6, but it definitely fits like a 6, which is why I'm bursting out of it-I wear a medium or an 8 typically. My daughter wears a size 4, and it's only slightly big on her. I included pics of it on both of us for reference. I wish it still fit me- it's really cute and flattering when it fits properly!
