Exquisite lithograph F FANCH Ledan Interior w/ 3 Matisse signed super luxe frame

François “Fanch” Ledan is a French artist that has been represented by the West Park gallery (headquartered in Southfield, Michigan) for more than 2 decades, until very recently. Both his landscapes and interiorscapes have a romantic mood and beckon the viewer to enter them. Fanch tries to express both a sense of whimsy and technical detail in each scene. His artwork is in the collections of Jacques Cousteau, Baron Bich, Jack Nicholson, John Williams, and Prince Albert. Fanch has done paintings and projects for major organizations and companies like the U.S. Air, Air France, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Tokyo Dome, HAVAS, Esso Exxon, and Yokohama. This colorful and elegant seriolithograph is typical of Fanch’s work, which tends to focus on the depiction of elegant, whimsical interiors with masterpiece paintings on the walls and large windows overlooking picturesque vistas. Here we have a curated contemporary interior, filled with art, including three paintings by Matisse (hence the title), in a beach house with stunning views, on some tropical shore… This invitation to a dream is elevated by a superb professional framing work, executed in 2001, with no less than three layers of mattes and a luxurious gold-painted frame, and protected by an anti-UV glass (see pictures of the labels on the back).
