I might not be able to come up high enough for that then, I have kids and while my tastes and luckily feet haven’t changed, my budget definitely has :( I missed out on these on 60% off at Nieman last year and have been kicking myself since, but that was already pushing it.

helenhs @nshark Oohhh yes those are good too. My fave Choos are my classic Anouks but they’re a silver reflex fabric so they glow like crazy when light hits them at the right angle. Sometimes I just put them on and look in the mirror tbh...

helenhs @nshark I mean... they’re 120s so it’s all relative. But yeah I’d say they’re pretty walkable given how high they are. Mine are a little rough because the fabric doesn’t really give but other women I know really love their leather ones after breaking in. I find So Kates to be decently wearable too though, so I might just be an oddball generally 😬

helenhs @nshark Well let’s be honest, with little kids there aren’t 120s happening very often right now 😂 fortunately I also have a weakness for high tops. I only tried So Kates recently while waiting on an errand and had the kids with me, I’m sure I looked kinda nuts wearing 120s and squatting down to pick up dropped Cheerios...

luxuriste @helenhs Also, for padding I HIGHLY recommend Pedag Princess inserts. They’re leather and don’t have glue/stickers that will ruin your insoles. I use them in a lot of my shoes, especially boots.

helenhs @nshark Are you trying to get classic thicker heeled pair of Pigalles or newer Follies? The Follies toebox is sooo short and the sizing is all weird on me, I need to try the Décolleté 554s sometime to see if that’s any better for a 100 heel.

luxuriste @helenhs I’ve only tried on the Follies at Saks, but I do like the sturdier heel of the classic design. The toe box actually worked fine for me! But my absolute favorite pair is the Breche. I tried on a pair last winter during their sale but didn’t get them and still regret it!

I’ll keep an eye out although I think you’re on here as much as I am 😂 I keep looking at block heeled pairs, like the Bibi or even a Rocknbuckle but I really gotta chill and actually wear the So Kates out first 😬

luxuriste @helenhs Block heels are so much easier to wear! Bibi is a classic, so it’s not like you’ll go wrong with having a pair! I got some Adox boots last year and looove the block heel. And yes, I’m on here often 😂 I’ll keep an eye out for you too!
