Gladding McBean Franciscan Desert Rose Crescent Salad Plate TV Mark 1958-60
For consideration is this vintage earthenware cresant salad plate manufactured by Gladding McBean in their Franciscan Pottery line of dinnerware and made in the U.S.A.
This salad plate is in the Desert Rose pattern which was first manufactured in the early 1940s, and the best-selling American dinnerware pattern in history. Desert Rose made its debut in 1941 and enjoyed the world's longest period of popularity of any dinnerware pattern produced by a single company until it was discontinued in 1984.
