Faberge. Yellow engine turned guilloche enameled 'Gatchina Palace' egg, modeled in part after the Easter egg of 1901, set with Austrian crystals and faux pearls, having miniature palace surprise, on stand, appropriately marked, in presentation box. Note: The original egg, held in the collection of the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore, Maryland was crafted in white translucent enamel. I will provide a presentation box but I am not sure if it is the exact box for the egg. I received many eggs and do not know what box goes with what. The egg, picture frame, and palace are all in great condition. I do think the stand could be fixed with the right tools. Approximate dimensions: overall h. 7", (egg) dia. 3.75".
