Fabulous 70s Gunne Sax Romantic Prairie Wedding Gown 8-9

Measurements • Shoulders 16" • Chest 34" • Waist 28" • Hips 50" • Shoulder to Waist 14" • Length 54" • I've spoken to several women over the years who said: "I was married in a Gunne Sax." But, until this one, I've never before seen a Gunne Sax wedding gown. This is a collector's level dress and a pretty rare survival example (she must have loved, she preserved it in pristine condition all these years). Starting at the top: The cupcake collar has five buttons with loops in the back. There's a layer of lace over the bodice. There's zipper in the back unzips from the shoulder down to about a quarter of the skirt. And at the back of the skirt are two long tails that can be left hanging loose or tied in a lovely pussycat bow. The acetate skirt is pretty voluminous and depending on the light, I can decide if the skirt is ivory with a pinkish cast or pink with an ivory cast. The label calls this a 9.
