Fabulous Vintage Corde Handbag/Lucite Handles

Corde’ handbags were touted in the 1940s as made of the longest wearing of all fabrics used in handbags; each was crafted with rows of “gimp” patterns stitched to a fabric background. Adding additional distinction are the clear Lucite pulls and handles. Excellent condition. (Photo shows flaws.)
