This is the *Brasil* FR version of the Coconut Grove maxi (just slightly different than the US version in the first photo!) I have adored this dress, it’s just a bit too big on me now. It is so beautiful and so forgiving and comfortable. It had been worn 3 times and been dry cleaned, and the fabric is slightly faded but still vibrant! There is a hook and eye closure in the bust and the pit to pit measures 21”. The waist stretches from about 17”-18”.

gilmoregirls504 What is length from top of shoulder to hem? Is the front slit on skirt open up to the waist?

chelsalexis @gilmoregirls504 hi! The total length is 56” and there is only the slitat the bottom center under the buttons, which start 21” up. I hope that helps!

gilmoregirls504 @chelsalexis thank you! How is it different from the US version? And is the bottom half very big? I need the 21 inches for bust :) but wear size 8/ medium pants.

chelsalexis @gilmoregirls504 I don’t have the US version for comparison, but based on the photos this one has the elastic cuffs (which are awesome!) and the buttons are a beaded red instead of the basic black. So I’m a 40” bust and there was room! The hook and eye closure also helped which I don’t think the US version has, so you’re not just…”hanging out” there (unless you prefer that which is totally fine too lol!)

chelsalexis @gilmoregirls504 The bottom just falls straight down- it’s billowy if you want it to be but I’d say your waist will determine how this falls (and its elastic there too.) I may have a pic of it on- I’ll add it! I’m a 45” hip and it wasn’t tight at all.
