Authentic Lined in black leather with black leather trim No odors Clean Overall great condition but there is some cracking on the strap. See pics. The strap was slightly reinforced in one spot. It has since been condition to prevent further cracking. It does not feel dry. Strap is still very strong and is in no danger of braking. Price reflects 11” x7” x 4”

ang6682 @pbud10 yes the zipper and magnetic closure. It worked perfectly fine. I think there could be a little micro cracking along the edge of the leather strap, but super minor and I have conditioned it several times since I bought it so it should not worsen just that side point that I reinforcedis the major wear and it’s still perfectly strong. It’s a really nice bag. I just have too many.

pbud10 @ang6682 so did you buy it used? 33 years ago i bought my mother in law a penguin stripe and its pristine- she passed away and in a weak moment, i gave it to my daughter who is holding it hostage lol- hers is perfect so im trying to find one equal in hopes she trades lol Is the hardware tarnished ? Also are you sure it’s authentic even with the stamp? Thank you

ang6682 @pbud10 I am a collector of luxury bags, but I purchased this from a lady who sells here on posh, and they also have their own store as well as selling on the other major auction site. They are a huge seller of used goods from Japan and they have very strict counterfeiting laws there so there is no worry that it is not authentic

ang6682 @pbud10 the only hardware on the bag that is visible while you were carrying it is the buckle on the strap and yes, it has a little fading because it is just a gold tone plating so of course over the years it has faded a bit, but it is minor in my opinion and who really looks at a buckle on a bag

pbud10 I also have many designer bags but have bought both mostly new and I’m just new at the preowned on auction sites but it is easy to see use and wear. My daughter bought me an LV and the strap broke so that would be my worry on this also

ang6682 @pbud10 if it was vintage Louis Vuitton, the Vietta leather can become very brittle if not treated properly. This leather is a treated leather, so it is much more durable plus this is a pretty thick strap. It has a lot of leather to go through, but your concerns are warranted, but my price does reflect that issue. I would otherwise have it priced quite a bit higher. It’s a pretty hard bag to find and aside from the strap. It’s in great condition and also has no funky odors.
