Fenton Carnival Glass Marigold Stippled Rays Compote Bowl Very Rare made in 1907! The catalog clipping you see amongst the pictures includes this very item. It was advertised in the Butler Bros catalogs from 1908 under a collection name "Golden Sunset". Fenton started their production of Carnival Glass in 1907. Therefore, this beautiful raised irridecent bowl is one of the earliest, if not the first item Fenton has ever created! Their earlier pieced were not signed. This beautiful example of early Fenton is in mint condition. It is antique, rare, and just breathtaking. The stippled raised rays radiating from center outwards are very precise and controlled.
