This is an extremely rare and since discontinued Filson Garment Bag made out of Rugged Cloth Twill Bridle and Leather. It has a leather luggage tag attached. All the zippers work, but one is missing the leather tassle used to pull it. The handles are attached, and there are no flaws of any kind besides an understandable slight fading that shows its vintage appeal. It has been well taken care of through the ages, is a very special find and won’t be available long! Give me an offer!

I feel like I’m looking at 2 bags based on the pics. The 1st set of pics appears faded and older but more importantly has talon zippers with on being broken. The second set of pics looks like a new bag and shows Filson zippers. Am I missing something?

@nickyhack907 ok great thanks that makes more sense to me now. So just to verify… all 3 zippers say “talon” on them and one is missing the pull tab? Do they all function properly meaning do they run smoothly? Is there anything else I need to know about the bag? General wear and tear is ok in my book as well as cosmetic blemishes outside of major stains which there don’t appear to be any. Also, the leather appears to be in good shape for its age. Any cracking or drying at all?

@greyfox3 yes it appears that the two complete zippers do say talent on them and both of those have the leather tassel attached. There is one of the zippers that does not have the metal pool tab or leather tassel attached all three of them run very smoothly.

@greyfox3 There are a few scratches on the leather handle and general wear and tear. Both of the snaps on the leather handle work perfectly as well as the snap at the top which holds the top of the hangers in place should you have them in your garment bag. There are no stains no drying of the leather just some scuffs that would be expected.

@nickyhack907 so I collect old school “talon” era Filson bags. These were made in the 90’s up to very early 2000’s. I can tell you that your bag was manufactured in August of 2001 by the tag so probably at the tail end of that era.
