These are made in Germany and have cork with a suede/nubuck top layer, like Birkenstocks, and are in excellent condition. I only had to wear them a few times to realize that my feet felt better with regular flat inserts than with these fancy arch support ones.. The few times I did wear them it was only for a couple of hours so the cork footbed has not conformed to my foot, and I washed and gave them a good brushing with my suede brush so they are ready to wear.
