'Fire Chariot' Signed Lithograph by Israeli artist Reuven Rubin

'Elijah and the Chariot' or 'Fire Chariot' Signed Framed Lithograph by Reuven Rubin. It depicts horses and a chariot. The dimensions are 29.5 inches x 23.5 inches (framed) and 24 inches x 18 inches (within the matted area). It is number 201/250 in roman numerals. Reuven Rubin (1893-1974) was a Romanian-born Israeli artist and Israel's first ambassador to Romania. Rubin was one of the first Israeli artists to achieve international recognition. The original painting was exhibited in the 1960s and in May 2004, sold at Christie's for $164,300. Among other museums, his work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York City and the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.
