First Basketball Card Ever Produced 1910 Murad T-51 Williams College Series 1

This is the sport of basketball’s rookie card! Authenticated, registered and encapsulated by SGC, the premier authenticator for vintage sports cards. A comparable example with PSA grade of 1.5 is currently selling at Steiner Sports for $1544.99 (as of 12/7/2022). Current combined population count (SGC and PSA) for all authenticated and graded Williams Murad T51 cards is 36(!) with the highest grade being PSA 6/10. Some of these cards were printed without the gold foil. This one has the gold foil stamping intact. A copy of the larger “Cabinet” version of this same card is part of a collection owned by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
