Fisher Labs CZ-6 QuickSilver Metal Detector

This is/was my personal device. I purchased it as an open box left-over model, new, from Edmunds Scientific. Everything works, the CZ-6 is/was one of the very best (hotest) detectors on the market. It is still sought after for that reason. It is very rare to find one up for sale! The detector is in really good condition, still has the depth, rejection that it did new. I have always been able to comb enough coin out of the beach to pay my tolls and a meal. :) Included is the original 8 inch search coil, adjustable shaft, headphones. The headphones were repaired, I purchased a new set... they are included with the sale. Both sets have volume controls for each ear cup. Waving my pocket knife in front to show operation. See the video. The lower collar, on the shaft where the fiberglass shift connects, is missing a part. I never replaced this since it did not effect operation. The search coil is coated in truck bed liner for protection. I had a coild cover and found minerized soil would get between the coil and the cover (it just snapped over the coil) causing interference. The coil is water proof, the controls are not. The control box can be removed and has a belt loop for use in deeper water. The shift is adjustable.
