Are there scratches on screen?

@hughash510 I wouldn't call them scratches, more light scuffing around the edges from wear. I never used a screen protector. But are no deep scratches and nothing that affects any of the visuals.

I haven't used it in a couple of years since I got my apple watch. But I powered it on and erased all data to reset to factory settings. It seems to still hold a charge really well.
