Five Lucky Cranes in Clouds on Pink. A pair of small berry bowls. Made in Japan, early 20th century. Post 1922 as backstamp reads Japan instead of Nippon. Probably 1922 to 1941. Back stamp is Mt. Fuji in a cherry blossom wreath with Handpainted and Japan at bottom. The five cranes are outlined in gold. Pink has wear and rub marks. There are manufacture flaws, black spots, rough patch on rim with black spot, indentations in rim. Possibly by Tame & Nakamura, Imperial Nippon, Moriyama or early Noritake. Will be double boxed and overpacked for shipment.
