Flame painted copper butterfly necklace

The butterfly is solid copper that I did coloring using a torch fire until I got the colors I wanted. It has been sealed to preserve the color, but sealing also takes some of the vibrancy away in the process. It's a catch 22; if it's not sealed, it could lose all of the color, so sealing it is necessary. The paper clip chain is 24" long and is stainless steel. The copper bead is cut from a pipe, and I did a etched design on it, antiqued it with liver of sulfur, and buffed it. All of my pieces are handmade by me. I design, cut, drill, shape, sand, paint antique, stamp and assemble each piece. I only use hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel chain and ear wires.
