Flight of the Bat Earrings

Hoops are 1.75” Cir. They hang about 2.5” long. “Bats” are 1.25” wide and .5” long. Fine Silver, Sterling Silver, Liver of Sulfur. I created a mold of an old brass piece I had and used Silver Metal Clay in the molds and then dried and fired them by hand, they look like Victorian bats to me, flying at night in the forest. I’ve always been fascinated with bats and think they are some of the cutest but most misunderstood creatures of earth. Made in my home studio!
