Flip Charm Pendant

The charm is stamped 925 so it is sterling. Do not see a marking on 24 inch chain so I am unsure of metal. These were often seen as watch fobs. I do not know the history of this piece. I bought it in the 1970’s at an estate sale. One side is black and the center rotates or flips over to white (may be mother of Pearl, glass, ?).
