Floral Dress Long Chiffon Church Tea Wedding Cambridge Oasis Size 8 UK = US 4

This is a long chiffon dress by Oasis for The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. Museums in the UK carry clothing in their gift shops with prints from notable works of art on them. This dress is "decorated with a print inspired by the botanical studies of Princess Louise d'Orleans. Princess Louise (1812-50) was an accomplished watercolourist who produced many beautifully detailed paintings of flora and fauna." It is dark Navy Blue with a multi-color floral print. The lining is the same dark navy blue. The flower colors range from Orange, Pink, Green, White and more. There are Green, Teal and Mint leaves against a mint green background. There are small parrots, hummingbirds, finches, and many different butterflies. The back and front have deep "Vs" . There are cut out cold shoulders. There is a ruffle thin sleeve over the straps. The back has a hidden zipper. The length is to about your ankles. This length and type of dress in the UK is typically worn as a guest to a wedding. That is why I got it and wore it to a friends wedding. It is a UK size 8 which means a size 4 in U.S.A. size. (see size chart in photos) It was made in China and is 100% Polyester. Machine washable. MEASUREMENTS: Bust size about 33.5" Waist size about 25" - 26" Hips about 35" - 36" From Top of the shoulder seam in back to hem is about 48" There is a 10" slit in the back for walking. This gorgeous dress would make a great Church dress, or for Dinner, Dance or Party, a Cocktail dress, a Date Night dress.
