coolawesome @mlarkin16 hey there. The dress has a small button inside to strap from left to right, and there are ties on the outside to wrap the dress around your waist. The opening between waist to upper thigh is pretty free. I would wear with a hidden pin, but you don't need it if you're comfortable with the openness
