krystleyvonne @mvelez1961 from the under armpit very top it’s 18” across. From the middle part right under the breast there is a seam and that measures 15” across from side seam to side seam.

krystleyvonne @mvelez1961 I think the medium would work for you. You are a bit smaller than I am and the small, I can’t button up on the side. The medium on me is snug. The waist on the medium is 27” and has an elastic band so they can stretch over your hips when you slide them on. The side where you button has elastic button hooks that give a bit of stretch when you button.
