Flower Mid Century Blue Japanese Saltwater Cultured Pearl Vtg Brooch- Sterling

This is a mid century floral brooch with bright blue Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearls and sterling silver. The pearls are 5.75-7.25mm with a bright blue/gray body color. They have great luster with light rosy overtones. No noticeable blemishes. It is made of solid sterling silver and has high polished silver accents with hand engraved leaves and flowers. Modernist design. Stamped "SILVER" for sterling silver. It measures 1 7/8 inches long. From mid-century Japan. All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned.
