These shoes were originally billed as ankle boots because of the flared leather above the heel cap, but they read and wear like flats, not boots. There was also a full low boot made in this range, and this is NOT them. These shoes are so comfortable and stylish. Because of the narrow toebox, they look good with cropped pants/shorts or skirts/dresses, as well as looking dandy under trousers.
