qweenb301 @katharinas yes, but my instep is wide, not high. I’ve been told by FVHQ this style fits small & to size up. So, if my wide size is 8, this size shouldn’t be too far off?

katharinas @qweenb301 I sold shoes at Neiman Marcus for 4 years, the measurements aren't going to help you determine fit, as the pitch of the heel, the height of the heel, where the shaft starts, type of leather will affect fit. However I will try to fit you: when you buy boots do you buy an 8 to get more with, or is the length an 8? Does an M with fit you or do you need a W? are all your toes the same length? are you flatfooted?

qweenb301 @katharinas I am not flat footed ~ with Fluevog Brand, I can range from size 7, 7.8 and 8 pending the style. I take a size 8 in boots that go to my knee so that my wide feet can get into the boot itself. My toes are not all same length either.

katharinas @qweenb301 think they will be borderline big. but doable. I have sized up that much to accommodate my high instep, widefoot similar issue. worse case scenario you can put in a suede 1/2 pad that will push your foot back.
