Footed covered round vegetable bowl in a lovely Royal Venton Ware pattern from John Steventon & Sons Ltd of Burslem, England. This pattern features orange and blue flowers with green and red leaves against a cream background accented with royal blue. Each serving piece features a scalloped edge bordered in royal blue. Typical of many serving pieces in this pattern, handles on the bowl are accented in royal blue scroll. The lid features a similarly detailed finial and this lid has an opening for the handle of a serving spoon or ladle. The bowl rests on a four square elevated base. This pattern is hard to find.
