Forestbound WWII era Salvaged Canvas Carryall

Alice Saunders at Forestbound takes vintage fabrics and combines them with lush leather and shiny hardware to make the best one-of-a-kind carryalls and totes. It's the ultimate slow fashion, as she releases these carryalls no more than a few times a year. This bag is made of durable, worn-in canvas salvaged from WWII era US military duffle bags that is re-worked into a versatile every day carryall bag. The interior lining is in beige cotton canvas. The bag has a large interior pocket (9" x 11") that will comfortably hold a wallet and phone, toiletries, notebook etc. Leather boot, handles and buckle straps are made from beautiful, top grain cow hide. The lightweight aluminum frame overlaps to close like one of those old doctor bags. The bag features an adjustable, removable leather shoulder strap with durable metal hardware. Metal feet on the base of the bag are great for wear and tear protection when traveling. One of the coolest things I like about the bag is the patchwork affect between the different greens on the front and back. *On my monitor but not on my phone, the canvas looks ribbed on some of the photos. This is an illusion. The canvas looks exactly like it does in the photo closeup of the logo. Bag measures approximately - 17" wide, 13" tall, 7" deep.
