Formal lace column dress

Pretty full length evening dress for any special occasion. Black shell with lace overlay. Column shape, approximately knee high side slit. Scalloped hem. Illusion neckline. Back zip. Hand wash. Length from shoulder seam: 54.5" Bust: 36" Waist: 32" Hips: 36" This was a little short on me and I'm 5'5". I normally have to get everything shortened. Maybe it's supposed to be around ankle length? I just wore it with flats.
