Fostoria Heather Etch Champagne Sherbet Dessert Stem Glass Set 4 1950s Retired

Set of 4 Fostoria "Heather" etch champagne/sherbet glass, you could also use it for wine or cocktails. This is an attractive and delicate etch introduced in the 1940s and retired in 1971 on an ornate beaded stem. The pattern features delicate flowers and leaves in a lacy arrangement. These are an attractive flared 16 panel optic shape. You can tell the quality of the glass by its beautiful clarity and sparkle. These are marked with the Fostoria name on the base. Etched glass involved some degree of hand finishing in the creation process and was expensive to buy when new. These are striking pieces for water, iced tea or your favorite beverage. Approx size: 4.75" h x 4" w, holds 7 oz. These were made in 2 sizes, please make sure you have the one you need. Condition*: Excellent condition, no cloudiness in the glass. No chips or cracks.
