Four Uranium Glass Green Spiral Vintage Glass Plates

This is for a set of Four (4) Uranium Federal Glass Vintage “Diana” Spiral Green Patterned Plates. These pretty plates were manufactured between 1928 and 1930, and are in excellent condition. The lime green clear Depression Uranium Vaseline glass has a soft green hue and is UV reactive; turning a bright shade of yellow green under black light. The beautiful pressed spiral pattern on the back side of this plate, plays on light and gives these plates a delicate flowing look. This set of four (4) plates measure 6” in diameter, and can also be used for serving side-dishes, salads, and deserts. These pieces of green uranium glass reacts and turns a bright lime green under ultraviolet, or black light because of the presence uranium which was used during manufacturing to create this specific color of glass. This unique characteristic adds an extraordinary quirk to these otherwise ordinary pieces of vintage depression glass. Please see all photos for condition.
