The iconic triangular Flat Iron Building was built in 1902 and had a basement restaurant that allegedly could seat up to 1500 guests.
The restaurant sold souvenir beer steins with an image of the building on one side and an image of a woman with her skirts swirling in the infamous wind that was always billowing around the building.
