Framed “Celebrate the Century” Stamp Series

Issued February 1993, this sheet is pane of 15 32cent stamps and first in the “celebrity the Century” series for each decade of the 20th century. Scott’s stamp collection gives its identification number as ‘Scott’s USA #3182’ with ‘Mint condition, very fine’ exceeding a catalog value of $15. This stamp sheet has been professional matted and mounted behind non-glare plexiglass (corner photo mounts, not hinged/ no adhesive damage). Addition on the front side, a brass name plat of the stamp series has been matted and mounted. On back side, paper stock is sealed to frame as a dust cover and has little to no adjacent surface contact damage. When this series was sold, each stamp sheet had a card stock backing board with description of the stamps. This backing board has been attached to the rear dust cover.
