Stunning vintage 80’s black dress - faux wrap with bow at waist, Silver and black bead detail; Shoulder Pads; Maker: Francesca de Damon for Starington. Fabric: 100% Silk; Size 12; Very good gently worn vintage condition. David Rappaport founded Damon Creations in 1942. Francesca for Damon was the women’s line, designed by David’s wife, Francesca. The line was made up of easy to wear, but stylish dresses made from fine Italian wool knit or silk. The Rappaports sold the business in 1988. Flat Measurements: Pit to pit: 22"; Waist: 16.5"; Hips: 19"; full length: 47.5"; Sleeves start at 8.5" (round 17") and tapers to 4" (round 8")
