Frankie Welch Vintage 1980s Cashmere Maxi Skirt Black | M

I had to do a bit of digging, because I had never heard of Frankie Welch when I first came across this skirt. Welch was the designer of a dress worn by First Lady Betty Ford, which is now on display in the Smithsonian's First Ladies' Hall in the National Museum of American History. She also designed dresses on display at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library. This skirt, a piece of American history and sold out of her Virginia boutique, was crafted in Scotland and is in excellent condition.
