Fabric: 70% cotton, 30% silk, soft, no stretch, lightweight partially transparent; the tag says machine washable, we recommend only if it's in a mesh bag. Otherwise, hand wash, it's lightweight and will be an easy clean. We often disagree with the machine washing instructions due to delicate fabric that would last much longer hand washed.
