@lindalou_7 Hi, there is no separate laptop sleeve or compartment. It can definitely fit a 14 in laptop, but you would need a sleeve for it. If you are interested in a bag with sleeve or padded compartment, I have 2 other bags in my closet that may fit your needs. One is a Tumi. The other an Orla Kiely. Both would accommodate a 14 inch laptop. Check them out.

@lindalou_7 Do you mean the handles only? No, that wont fit on the shoulder. You would need the strap for that— see middle picture.
