Wall hanging Bar. Double matted. Artist Biography: Freiman Stoltzfus is a native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was born into an Amish-Mennonite family, the youngest of six children. From an early age, his artistic ability was recognized and encouraged, in particular by his mother. He began depicting the people and landscapes of the Amish community. Freiman studied at The National Academy and Arts Students League, both in New York City. He is proficient in a variety of media, including oil and acrylic paint, pastel, drawing, watercolor, printmaking, photography, collage, and sculpture.
